Why is so difficult for camera fellowships to come up with one good all nearby digital camera that's excellent for all occasions? I suppose it's not assuredly in their best interests to encourage consumers to only own one excellent camera, when they can sell them several. If I were more of a conspiracy principles advocate, I'd advise they do it on purpose. But, I'm not, and I do believe there are other factors at work here. The three most distinguishable features or dividing factors when it comes to digital cameras are size, ease of use, and image quality. To lesser and greater degrees, these traits seem to be mutually exclusive when it comes to camera compose and build.

Smaller sized camera designs are very portable, but ordinarily sway ease of use and image ability in negative ways. Ease of use ordinarily means lots of auto settings, which is great for newbie photographers, as tiny skill is required to snap a picture. But, it also means camera designers are forced to compromise on default settings that are Ok for most pictures, but not great for all pictures. factory set defaults will have to do until cameras become smart enough to detect all the nuances of a single shot concerning lighting, color, and artistic intention. The Canon Powershot A570Is is one of the good cameras in terms of simplifying things at a cheap price.

The extreme in image quality ordinarily means big bulky Slr cameras with a case load of lenses and controlled lighting for different types of shooting environments. Slr photography also involves micro managing of all the assorted camera settings such as aperture, Iso settings, white balance, f-stop and so on. You assuredly have to know what your doing. The Canon Rebel Xti Digital Slr, or the Nikon D40 are good cameras in this class that don't break the bank.

This Images project was directed by Alex Berry at Winterfest 2012 at the Marriott hotel in downtown Lancaster. Douglass Berry and Matt Funke were primary photographers, with Lucy Russell helping as well. Ed Hartman also deserves credit for idea brainstorming. Douglass Berry created all of the photostories. From a technical standpoint, all video was shot with a Sony HVR-A1U (old). Cameras used were a Nikon D3000 (Douglass) and an older Olypmus the model of which I can't remember (Matt). Lenses used were an AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-55mm 1:3.5-56G VR, an AF-S DX NIKKOR ED 55-200mm 1:4-5.6G, and an Olympus 16-135. Details for Olympus equipment will be updated shortly. All software used was Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop from the CS5.5 Production Premium suite. The photostories were made with some random free program we found last minute. All credits to music and what not are in the credits of the video. But anyways, all credit goes to those who deserve it.
