Pentax K2000 (with 18-55mm lens) first look

Pentax K2000 (with 18-55mm lens) first look Video Clips. Duration : 2.93 Mins.

The K2000 comes in several different kits. The f3.5-5.6 18-55mm kit lens is one of Pentax's new DA L series budget lenses, which the company says uses the same optics as the older models but uses less expensive construction. The most novel kits includes the lens and AF200FG flash; other versions widely available include body only, a typical kit with the 18-55mm lens, and a dual-lens kit with the 18-55mm and 55-200mm lenses. The flash is naturally available separately as well. You can also get it in white directly from Pentax. Though its has a compact, comfortable body which is smaller than all but the Olympus E-450, it's also a bit heavier than its direct competitors. It has a nice, big grip to accommodate four AA-size batteries. Pentax doesn't include a lot of connectors; under a cover on the left side is a proprietary video-out/PC connector and the right has an SD card slot. The camera has a pretty standard layout. The mode dial on top offers the usual handful of scene modes, with another slot that gives you access to more, plus PASM manual and semimanual exposure modes. The K2000 also has Pentax's Sensitivity Priority mode, which allows you to select ISO sensitivity while shutter speed changes and aperture remains fixed; this is especially useful for homing in on appropriate settings for low-light shooting. A button near the mode dial works in conjunction with the back dial (dubbed the "e-dial") for adjusting exposure compensation, or, in Manual mode, toggling the dial ...

UV filter Test! II Should you always use a UV filter? Does it affect Image quality? Quick test!

UV filter Test! II Should you always use a UV filter? Does it affect Image quality? Quick test! Tube. Duration : 2.18 Mins.

All DSLRs and also the lenses have UV filters on them to limit the amount of UV light. A UV screw on filter will not help image quality at all (but it used to help some in the film days.) Most people buy them because it keeps the front element brand new and its easy to clean. Lots of budget UV filters don't filter anything (not even UV) and sometimes cause artifacts. If you really want to buy a filter, then look at this comparison test www.lenstip.com Seems like all brands make good and bad filters of all price ranges.

Opteka HD² 58mm R72 720nm Infrared X-Ray IR Filter Feature

  • Brand New Opteka HD² 58mm R72 720nm Infrared X-Ray "See Through" Multi-Coated IR Filter
  • This filter can help you to see perfectly through sunglasses and dark, tinted car windows.
  • IR filters used in conjunction with an IR sensitive camera can sometimes see things completely invisible to the human eye.
  • Other applications where the IR filter can be used include: environmental studies, natural resource studies, monitoring geographical changes
  • What are you waiting for? This filter will give you hours of photographic fun!

Opteka HD² 58mm R72 720nm Infrared X-Ray IR Filter Overview

Opteka specializes in manufacturing special optical devices for the past several years, would like to take this opportunity to introduce a newly developed product called the "HD² Infrared X-Ray Effect See-Through Multi-Coated Filter". This filter makes it possible for you to see images that are normally invisible to the human eye. It sounds like science-fiction but it isn't; this fantastic new product has been developed using the most highly advanced optical technologies available. This filter will filter out 99% of light seen by the naked eye only allowing infrared light through so that technically the naked eye can see 100% black when the filter is in place. Multi-coating prevents light reflection, ghost light...etc, making images clearer and sharper. On your digital camcorder, turn the "Nightshot" function on - the naked eye cannot pick up the high contrast black, so with the infrared filter and Nightshot combination, for example, it will help you see in the images provided, that we 'accidentally' spilt some permanent ink on this document and the text is now impossible to read. However, when we attached the filter to our Sony 'TR250PK' camcorder, the writing is clearly legible through the ink - thus the x-ray effect! You will be amazed with the power if you take the time to experiment and experience its capabilities for yourself. If you already have a digital camcorder with the Nightshot feature and are interested in experimenting with the X-Ray effect, this is by far the least expensive method, giving you the results you are looking for. Just screw on the filter, switch on the 'Night' feature, and you are ready to go!

Olympus Compact

Olympus Compact Video Clips. Duration : 1.00 Mins.

AMAZON UK www.amazon.co.uk Customer Reviews: "My initial attention was possessed by this camera body's size. At the time I got to know of the E-PM1, I wasn't exactly searching for a new camera. I own a compact Canon Powershot and an iPhone 4. Over time I had lost my passion for photography and thus had become lazy to carry my compact unit with me unless there was a significant reason to do so. I had vowed never to own a DSLR as I knew that if I did, it wouldn't be long before I became lazy to carry all that gear around with me wherever I went. When I started looking into the specifications, test photos, reviews of the E-PM1 it became apparent to me that it is possible to have such a compact camera that beats much larger DSLR systems. I learned that this mirrorless camera had the same sensor size as all of its larger Four Third mount cameras and that this body is compatible with the full range of micro Four Third and full size Four Third lenses. These facts were what impressed me the most because I then realised that I could be walking around with a stealthy camera body that's slimmer and smaller than many compact cameras in the market, yet have the capabilities to beat the older Four Third DSLR bodies. One of the important decision criteria was the ability to carry a camera around without a bag that had to be opened to gain access. I searched online and found that there were some camera cases from China that fit this unit perfectly and some even had a bump on the top to ...

Olympus i-SPEED 3 | Test Footage - Knuckles

Olympus i-SPEED 3 | Test Footage - Knuckles Video Clips. Duration : 2.47 Mins.

Director : Paul Bryan Client : Mattias Husser (aka Knuckles) A short reel of some of the test footage to be used for the music video 'Blake - What I like (Knuckles Insomniac Remix)'. Shot using the Olympus i-SPEED 3 and a SIGMA 24mm f.1.8. I found this lens the most practical especially under low light conditions. All the footage is ungraded and straight from the camera. The track used for the reel is 'Equinox' by Knuckles.
